The Story of Daisy
It may seem silly to some, but to me, this being the last
one of its kind out of the LA plant was pretty cool. So now it has
joined the rank of “project truck” as opposed to just being a donor
truck. I’m not yet sure if I will make a complete project out of it or
if I will just make it whole again and sell it. I’m still pondering that
one.
The truck is actually in pretty good shape, but it has
been gutted. The chassis, cab and front end and some of the
interior cab components are all that remains. I have no way to
know for sure, but in looking at the condition of things, I believe it
to have the original cab and axles. The front fenders are right for
the year, but I have no idea if they are original. But they are in
great shape. The grille obviously had been changed at some point,
which was what led me to this truck in the first place.
